Boxing is not a mainstream sport nowadays, BUT not a high paid sport either anymore?

In top 10 no boxer, in top 50, just one boxer, Manny Pacman who is the face of the sport, tied with soccer player Kaka at 24th position!
In top 10, three football (soccer) players which is logic considering how soccer is the king of sports, two golfers, two NBA players, a tennis player, a baseball player and a formula 1 driver……. no boxer, wow, i swear boxers and especially Oscar and Mike used to be top 5 all the time during the late 80′s and through all the 90′s, what a dramatic decline!
Also, it’s shocking how American football is not as high paid as some American fans present it either, i think there are 3 quarterbacks in the top 50 and no player in the top 10, i thought it was better than that.
It seems like Football (soccer), Basketball, Baseball, Tennis, Golf and Auto and Motor sports is what pays the best nowadays!
I never understood the popularity of boxing in the first place. You can go to jail for even going to chicken fights or dog fights but boxing is glorified. Go figure.
