How To Grade Baseball Cards
Baseball cards: How do I know which are worth paying to grade?
I have twenty billion cards and could never afford to have them all graded. How does one go about choosing the best ones to take to be graded? Certain names? Years? Production? What?
I am not a fan of grading cards but the cards you would want to grade are of popular players, rookie cards and cards from condition sensitive sets (eg a black border cards which get damaged easily). It should go without saying that you should only send cards that will get a good grade. The other card type of cards the grade are vintage cards Pre-1960s.
Without that being said grading is usually not worth the trouble and price. Rarely you will make you moneys worth. Cards prices are falling so I wouldn’t commit more money into your collection.
